Biography

Tom started life as a fine art photographer before broadening out to a more commercial space. He quickly established himself as an interior photographer, working with some of the best known designers and developers in the UK and the rest of the world.  He had a chance opportunity to move to Tanzania for 5 years, followed by a stint in the Netherlands, but is now back in the UK and working with clients and connections made from his experience with industry leaders such as Candy & Candy, Taylor Howes, Finchatton and The Studio at Harrods.

His client base has grown to cover the USA, Europe and Russia, and he is now firmly established as one of the UKs leading interior photographers. His work comprises interior photography for his clients, but also ongoing construction photography – documenting the build process from the ground up to the finished article. These particular projects can take between 2-4 years, but they have proved to be invaluable in creating a record of the developments growth and design.

Tom has combined his fine art photography with his commercial acumen and runs a number of workshops and masterclasses for amateur and professional photographers alike. He co-leads the USA Masterclass with Charlie Waite – an annual photography class that looks to take established photographers to a new level. He also judges on a number of photography competitions, including the Landscape Photographer of the Year, and the Comedy Wildlife Photography awards.
